Teachers' Work Basket

If you're a teacher and you're looking for some good online material to use for your research, then this is the page for you.  Or, perhaps you want to bring your class members into the computer age with research during your Sunday School class.  Then, this page is for you.  We have some marvelous material.  Take a look.  E-Sword is a good place to start.

Are you looking for a good set of biblical commentaries online.  Then you've come to the right place.  Go to a very reliable source at College Press.

A Strong's Concordance is also available online.  Search out Greek and Hebrew meanings using this helpful tool.  Look at every use of a word in the Bible.  Someone wanting to do a thorough investigation of a text can use this as a great tool.

You may also need to look at a Harmony of the Gospels.  A Harmony of the Gospels tries to look at parallel passages in the Gospels.  It also attempts to put things in chronological order.  The above web site uses McGarvey's Fourfold Harmony.  You might like to check out Davidson Press' Harmony.  McGarvey's Fourfold comes with a commentary.  Davidsons Press is a stricter Harmony.  Both are good tools.

Look at different translations using Bible Gateway's web site.  See further Bible translations at Bible Study Tools.  Bible Study Tools also offers a Greek Lexicon.  Need a good map or information on a location found in the Bible?  Go to The Bible Atlas.  You can find further information through the use of a Bible Dictionary.  Perhaps you're a history buff.  Search out the Early Church Fathers at Christian Classic Ethereal Library
