My wife, Carol, and I have ministered with Malvern for 20 years. During this time, we have seen many changes with FCCM and with our own family. Carol is active in the music and the deaf ministry of the church. We have three grown children. Our son Ben is married to Jenn and they have one child, Shane. Both Ben and Jenn are active in the Ignite ministry of the church. Melody is our middle child, is married to Bryan Jones. She is active in teaching a class for 20 and 30 year-olds. She also sings. Amy, our youngest, is married to Doug Jones. She is active in the music ministry of the church.  

As well as being the Music/Worship Minister, I teach a Sunday School class. I oversees all the music ministries of the church and direct the adult choir, adult praise ensemble, chime choir, teen ensemble, and Sunday morning praise bands.

Education
Undergraduate studies at Kent State University and transferred to Milligan College in Tennesse. 
Received a BA degree in Bible from Milligan College and a Human Relations minor. 
Other studies include graduate work through Ashland Theological Seminary. 

I have taught organ, piano, and drums with various music stores in the area.
