History
The questions you need to ask, “How did I become a part of Malvern?” Well ... let me tell you. I’m a true native here. I was born, raised and pushed out into the “Real World” from here in Malvern. My whole life, I would tell people don't blink because you'll miss the town. Literally, we have only one traffic light! But I never thought I would come back here, to this town, to help serve God’s people. But God always has a plan. What’s neat about serving here is the people know who I am and have watched me grow up. So now, I get to spread the word of God to the people I grew up with. Thank you God!

Education and Employment
I am a graduate of Malvern High School in 1998. I received an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stark State College (2003). And a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth and Family Ministries, with a minor in camp management from Kentucky Christian University(2007). Currently, educating myself into fatherhood, BOY is that tough!

Vision

Family
In 2005, I married my wife, the former Mariah Anderson, she is also from Malvern. We have a daughter named Isabella who was a miracle baby, God sent a blessing. Our daughter was born 4 months early weighing 1 lb. 9.8oz. Basically she was the size of a lemon. The wonderful part of this experience is that she was born November 26, 2007 so we get to count our blessings every Thanksgiving Day.

Hobbies
I love working with my hands, playing with Lego’s, watching movies. A new hobby I'm discovering is fishing. I enjoy video games and relaxing when I can.

Favorite Scripture
I really do not have a favorite scripture but one that helped me through struggles of life is 1 Corinthians 10:13 –“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. NIV
